Terms of Service

What you can expect from Tangigo, what we expect from you, who owns what an agent writes, and how billing works.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Tangigo. By creating an account, or by using an organization someone has invited you to, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" means that company.

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

2. Accounts and organizations

Work in Tangigo belongs to an organization. An organization’s owners and administrators control its members, its products and modules, its connected systems and its billing. If you join an organization you did not create, its owners can see and manage what you do inside it and can remove your access.

You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or an API key has been compromised.

3. What agents do, and what you are responsible for

Tangigo is an agentic product. When you ask it to, agents read your repositories, documents and registry entries, write code, create branches and pull requests, run tests, and — where you have configured it — deploy. Some actions run without a further prompt once you have started them.

Agent output is generated by large language models. It can be wrong, incomplete, insecure, or similar to code the model has seen elsewhere. It is a draft, not advice and not a warranty of correctness. You are responsible for reviewing what an agent produces before you merge, release or deploy it, and for the consequences of anything you do merge. Nothing in the product removes your obligation to review; the pull-request step exists so that review has somewhere to happen.

Where you connect Tangigo to your own systems — a source-control host, a cloud account, a device, a payment or messaging provider — you authorise us to act on those systems using the credentials you supply, for the actions you trigger. You are responsible for the scope of the access you grant. Grant the least that works.

4. Ownership of your content and of agent output

You keep ownership of everything you bring: your source code, documents, diagrams, test assets, registry entries and data. We claim no ownership of it. We take only the licence we need to run the product for you — to store it, process it, transmit it to the model provider serving your request, and display it back to your organization.

Output an agent generates for you — code, tests, documents, diagrams, configuration — is yours, as between you and us. We assert no ownership of it and place no restriction on your use of it. Two limits are worth stating plainly rather than burying. First, machine-generated output may not attract copyright in every jurisdiction, and we cannot grant you rights in something that is not ownable; what we can and do say is that we will not claim it. Second, models can produce output resembling their training data, so output is not warranted to be original or free of third-party rights, which is one of the reasons you review before you merge.

The platform itself — the product, its interfaces, its agent runtime and everything we publish about it — remains ours. Feedback you send us we may use without obligation.

5. Use of AI, and disclosure

We do not run our own models. Requests are served by third-party providers — Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, depending on the model selected — and running an agent sends them your prompt and the content the agent reads. Your use of the product is therefore also subject to those providers’ acceptable-use policies, and we may pass on a restriction one of them imposes.

Tangigo does not train models on your content. Whether a provider does is governed by that provider’s own terms; the Privacy Policy points you at them rather than paraphrasing them.

If you publish or ship something an agent generated, any disclosure obligation that attaches to AI-generated material in your jurisdiction or your industry is yours to meet. We give you the record — every build is attributable to a story, a branch and a pull request — so that you can.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Tangigo to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • build, distribute or operate malware, ransomware, credential harvesters, spam infrastructure or tooling whose purpose is unauthorised access;
  • test, scan or attack a system you do not own and are not authorised in writing to test — the test engine refuses private, link-local and cloud-metadata targets, and that guard is a floor, not permission for everything above it;
  • attempt to reach another customer’s organization, to escape the isolation of a build job, or to read data the product has not given your role;
  • circumvent metering, credit limits or rate limits, or resell access to the platform as your own;
  • submit content you are not entitled to submit, including someone else’s source code or personal data you have no basis to process;
  • generate material that is unlawful, that sexualises minors, or that is designed to harass, defraud or impersonate; or
  • use the platform in a way that degrades it for others.

We may suspend access immediately where use threatens the platform, another customer, or someone’s safety, and will tell you why.

7. Plans, credits and payment

Tangigo is sold on four plans — Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise. The current prices, included credits, model access and limits for each are on the pricing page, which reads them from the same catalog the billing system charges against; that catalog, not this page, is the operative statement of what a plan costs and includes.

  • Free requires no card. It gives access to a limited model selection and a hard monthly token cap; when the cap is reached, agent work stops until the next month or until you upgrade.
  • Pro and Team are subscriptions, billed monthly or annually, in Indian rupees or US dollars. Annual is billed once for the year at the annual price shown. Team is priced per seat and its credits are pooled across the organization.
  • Enterprise is agreed with us in writing and is not self-serve.
  • Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance. Agent usage draws on it at the published rate for the model used. You can buy additional credits at any time, and larger top-ups carry the volume bonus shown at the time of purchase. Auto-reload, if you turn it on, buys a further top-up whenever your balance falls below the threshold you set — you can switch it off at any time.
  • Credits are prepaid and are not refundable for cash. Included monthly credits are granted per billing period and do not carry over; purchased top-up credits remain until used.

Payments are taken by Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are exclusive of tax; GST is added where it applies, and an invoice is issued for each charge. Where you supply a GSTIN we will show it on the invoice.

8. Changing plan, cancelling, and failed payments

You can upgrade at any time from the billing screen; the new plan and its credit allowance apply from the start of the new subscription. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for, and the organization moves to Free after that. We do not pro-rate a part-used period, and payments already taken are not refundable except where the law requires it or where we have got the charge wrong.

If a payment fails we will tell you and retry. After repeated failures the subscription enters a grace period of seven days during which the plan keeps working. If it is still unpaid at the end of the grace period, the organization is downgraded to Free: your data stays, but paid-plan limits, models and credit allowance stop. Paying restores the plan.

We may change prices with at least thirty days’ notice to organization owners. A change takes effect at your next renewal, so you can cancel before it applies to you.

9. Availability, support and changes to the service

The service is provided as it stands. We publish current platform health on the status page. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on the self-serve plans; an SLA is available under an Enterprise agreement. Support is by email, and response expectations differ by plan as described on the pricing page.

We improve the product continuously and may change, add or withdraw features. Where we withdraw something you rely on, or make a change that materially reduces the service, we will give organization owners notice.

10. Third-party services

The product integrates with services we do not operate: source-control hosts, cloud providers, app stores, model providers, payment and messaging providers. Your use of each is governed by its own terms, and its availability and behaviour are outside our control. Section 6 of the Privacy Policy lists which of them process data on our behalf.

11. Warranties and liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that agent output will be correct, secure or fit for your purpose.

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, from your use of the service in breach of these terms, and from what you do with agent output after you have reviewed and merged it.

12. Suspension, termination and your data

You can delete your account or your organization at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, for non-payment after the grace period described in section 8, or where we are required to by law; except where the breach is severe or urgent, we will give you notice and a chance to fix it.

You can export your organization’s data while the account is active. On deletion we delete the organization’s records, destroy its encryption key and destroy its stored credentials, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion is not reversible.

13. Governing law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection in your own country of residence.

We may update these terms. For a material change we will give organization owners at least thirty days’ notice before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
